Following the devolution of policing and justice powers to the Northern Ireland Assembly on 12 April, the Northern Ireland Court Service has become the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service, and is now an agency of the Department of Justice. The name change takes account of the organisation’s expanded responsibilities in respect of tribunals.

You can read further information about the new department at www.dojni.gov.uk.
