Welcome to the Northern Ireland Court Service Heritage Section

The courthouses of our towns and villages have been constructed over several centuries. These courthouses form an important part of the architectural heritage of Northern Ireland and also reflect the beliefs and achievements of the society which built them. By conserving this part of our heritage we are maintaining a tangible link with past generations, helping not only to set in context our own society and times but also to create a feeling of pride and a sense of identity in a changing world.

	The Northern Ireland Court Service recognises and accepts the responsibility bestowed upon it and is proud to conserve the buildings and their settings, for your interest and for the benefit of future generations.
