The Court Service is dedicated to promoting confidence in the criminal justice system and improving understanding of the role of the courts in Northern Ireland.
Outreach activities take place right across Northern Ireland and cover schools, colleges, community groups and events for the general public.

Magistrates’ Court Mock Trial Competition March 2006 |
Some of the main areas of the Court Service's Outreach Programme are;
Court Visits : Take a tour of your local courthouse with your school, college or community group and find out how the court works!
Mock Trials : Learn by active participation in a scripted mock trial. You can take on the roles of the people involved in a criminal court as part of a court visit or as part of the annual Magistrates Mock Trial Competition for key stage 3 students.
Open Days : Visit the courthouse to find out about the history of the courthouse, how a court works and how courts fit into the criminal justice system.
