The Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service recognises information as a critical business asset that it needs to protect, with reliable and accurate information critical in enabling us to make proper decisions. Information assurance provides this protection by managing risks to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information so that our business always functions effectively.
We have in place a number of policies, procedures and supporting guidance documents to assist that information assurance process
The Information Charter sets out the standards that you can expect from the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service when we request or hold personal information about you. It will tell you how you can get access to your personal data and what you can do if you think that standards are not being met; further detail on Freedom of Information and making a complaint is also available on the quick links opposite.
