Ministerial Visit to the Northern Ireland Court Service
To highlight the celebrations of the 25th anniversary year of the Northern Ireland Court Service, the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs, Lord Falconer joined the Management Board and staff of the Court Service for a two day visit.

Courthouses Celebrate Charter Mark Success
On our celebratory 25th anniversary year 8 of our courthouses have achieved the prestigious Charter Mark accreditation. The offices are Bangor, Belfast Combined Courts, Craigavon, Downpatrick, Londonderry, Newtownards, Omagh, and the Royal Courts of Justice.

On the 6 September 2004, Her Majesty the Queen appointed a new Lord Justice of Appeal in Northern Ireland, a new Judge of the High Court of Justice in Northern Ireland and 4 new Judges of the County Court in Northern Ireland.
