We recommend that you read the following information before you start to fill in a new form
Operation of the Family Forms System
The Family Forms system guides the user through their chosen form(s) via a series of questions that the user enters responses to.
Completion of Forms
Users may have to complete every step of a form. However, unneeded steps may simply be skipped.
When you select a form, at the top right of the screen click on the box beside 'Highlight fields' and this will show all steps of the form that may be completed.
Answers can be typed directly into the spaces provided on the screen. However, if you need more space to give full information, you should continue on a blank sheet. Remember to include your name and the name(s) of any other person(s) involved on this sheet.
Fees
Some forms require you to pay a fee. Your local court office can advise on current fees and contact details can be found here.
To decide which form you need, view the complete list of forms. A brief description of each form is detailed beside the form number.
You will need a set of forms for each person named as a respondent. Court staff can help you by explaining which forms you need to complete but cannot give you legal advice.
