Transfer
of Probate Business to Chancery Division
- The title of all applications for grants
of representation, originating and interlocutory processes and other
documents which before the transfer of probate business from the Family
Division pursuant to The Rules of the Supreme Court (Northern Ireland)
(Amendment) 2007 (SR 2007 No.189) and The Rules of the Supreme Court
(Northern Ireland) (Amendment No.2) 2008 (SR 2008 No. 401) would have had
to be lodged or filed in the Probate and Matrimonial Office should include
“CHANCERY OFFICE (PROBATE)” immediately below “CHANCERY DIVISION”.
- Correspondence about probate business
should be addressed to the Chancery Office (Probate), Royal Courts of
Justice, Belfast BT1 3JF.
