THE CO-OPERATIVE BANK P.L.C. (TRADING AS BRITANNIA)

1.         On 1 August 2009 the business of Britannia Building Society merged with The Co-operative Bank. 

2.         With effect from 1 August 2009 The Co-operative Bank p.l.c. (trading as Britannia) shall be substituted for all cases in the name of Britannia Building Society.

3.         This Practice Direction shall apply to all proceedings pending or ongoing as of 1 August 2009 to which Britannia Building Society is a party.

4.         Any party to such proceedings may apply to the court in which the proceedings are to be dealt with for an order that the substitution of name shall not have effect in those proceedings.
