LONDONDERRY RECORDER’S COURT

 

REVISED PRACTICE DIRECTION

 

COUNTY COURT LISTING FORM

 

 

The Recorder of Londonderry requires a County Court Listing Form to be completed and submitted to the Court Office in all Civil Bill cases requiring hearing dates to be allocated.

 

The purpose of this form is to enable the court to allocate sufficient time for the hearing of cases and thus attempt to avoid unnecessary adjournments caused by:-

 

a)       witness availability not being checked prior to court listing;

b)      medical evidence in-complete and or updated medicals required;

c)       medical evidence, photographs, maps, plans etc not shared within the allotted time period and the other-side do not agree same.

 

1.       The County Court Listing Form should be lodged with the COR and the information contained therein should be agreed or checked with the solicitors on record for each defendant prior to submitting. 

If the defendant’s solicitor does not return the County Court Listing Form and good cause has not been shown as to why the COR should not be issued, the plaintiff’s solicitor should lodge the following with the Court:-

a)       Certificate of Readiness

b)      County Court Listing Form completed on behalf of the plaintiff

c)       Copy letter to the Defendants

 

2.       If the County Court Listing Form is not lodged with the COR then the case will not be given a hearing date, but instead will be listed for mention.

3.       County Court Listing Forms can be collected from the Court Office.
