Santander UK (formerly trading as ABBEY NATIONAL PLC)

1.         On 11 January 2010 Abbey National plc changed its name to Santander UK plc.

2.         With effect from 11 January 2010 Santander UK plc shall be substituted for all cases in the name of Abbey National plc.

3.         This Practice Direction shall apply to all proceedings pending or ongoing as of 11 January 2010 to which Abbey National plc is a party.

4.         Any party to such proceedings may apply to the court in which the proceedings are to be dealt with for an order that the substitution of name shall not have effect in those proceedings.
