PRACTICE DIRECTION NO 4 of 2011

IRISH BANK RESOLUTION CORPORATION LIMITED (formerly trading as ANGLO IRISH BANK CORPORATION LIMITED)

 

1.         On 14th October 2011, Anglo Irish Bank Corporation Limited changed its name and is now incorporated as a limited company under the name Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Limited.

 

2.         On and with effect from 14th October 2011, in respect of any proceedings to be continued by Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Limited in any Court in Northern Ireland in which Anglo Irish Bank Corporation Limited is a party, Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Limited shall be substituted as a party therefor.

 

3.        Any party to such proceedings may apply to the court in which the proceedings are to be dealt with for an order that the substitution of name shall not have effect in those proceedings.

 

4.        Any judgment or order of any court in Northern Ireland in which Anglo Irish Bank Corporation Limited is named as a party may be enforced by or against Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Limited without the leave of the court, whether under paragraph 1 and Rule 5(1)(b) of the Judgement Enforcement Rules (Northern Ireland) 1981 or otherwise.
