Children Order Bulletin (Provisional Statistics) October – December 2011

Figures published today by the NI Courts and Tribunals Service in the quarterly Children Order Bulletin outline the County Court business received and dealt with from the quarter October to December 2011.

During the quarter;

• There were 1,359 applications entered during the period
• There were 1,405 applications dealt with during the period
• There were 157 cases transferred during the period
• The average waiting time in weeks from lodgement to disposal for public law cases was 40 weeks
• The average waiting time in weeks between lodgement to disposal for private law cases was 23 weeks
