When you come to court, you can expect:
- the court office to be open, normally, from 9:30am to 1:00pm and from 2:00pm to 4:30pm;
- clear signs;
- public telephones;
- adequate toilet facilities; and
- polite and helpful staff.
When you go the public counter, you can expect:
- prompt and helpful service from staff;
- your privacy to be respected and any confidential business to be discussed in private; and
- to be seen within 10 minutes and if you have to wait any longer, a member of staff will explain why.
When you telephone a court office, you can expect:
- an answer to your call normally within 30 seconds
- to be given the name of the court office; and
- help and assistance with your enquiry.
When you write to the court office, you can expect:
- acknowledged receipt of your correspondence and send you a reply within 15 working days.
