Court User Groups

The Court Service has a commitment to consult and involve all court users in the delivery of quality services.

One of the ways the Court Service strives to achieve this is through its Court User Groups.

The purpose of the Court User Groups are to:

·        Promote the smooth and efficient operation of the court by consulting and involving users;

·        Identify, discuss and propose solutions to local problems arising from the general administration of the court;

·        Provide updates on Departmental, and, in particular, Operations Division issues.

There are a variety of representatives on the Court User Groups from prosecuting authorities, legal representatives, the voluntary sector and other public representatives raising community issues and concerns.

If you feel that there is an issue you would like to have raised at a Court User Group in your court, please contact the secretary of the group. For a list of all the Court User Groups and contact numbers please click here.
