Enforcement Fees Explained

This section has a current list of fees and a fee calculator which will tell you the correct fee for the amount you want to recover. You can also view examples of how to calculate interest. Please use this link to view the rules governing the refund of enforcement fees.

Please note that EJO fees will increase on 1 April 2017.  The fee lists that shows the new fees from 1 April 2017 can be viewed here.

Notice of Intention to Enforce a Money Judgment (N.O.I.) (Form 1 &2) 

The fee to issue an N.O.I. is £22.00

Recovering Money (Form 3) 

The fees for recovering money through our office are on a sliding scale.

Recovering Land or Property (Form 4)

The fee for recovery of Land or Property is £567.00

Recovering Land or Property along with money (Form 4)

To calculate this fee you add the £567.00 for recovery of Land or Property to the correct fee for the amount of money you wish to recover (see recovering money above)

Recovering Goods (Form 4)

The fee for recovering goods is £182.00

Recovering Goods along with money (Form 4)

To calculate this fee you add the £182.00 for recovery of Goods to the correct fee for the amount of money you wish to recover (see recovering money above)

Application for Discovery (Form 6)

The fee for a discovery case is £165.00

Stay of Enforcement

The fee for a Stay of Enforcement is £22.00

Certificate of Satisfaction

The fee for a certificate of satisfaction is £17.00

Search Fee

The fee for a search is £9.00 per name via the EJO Online Debt Register Service. If an officer of the court carries out the search the fee will be £20.00.
