Welcome to the Customer Service section of our website. The Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service is committed to providing an efficient, accessible and quality service for all customers by listening and responding to their needs.
This commitment is part of our Business Modernisation and Customer Service Strategy which sets out the Courts and Tribunals Service’s vision of how we plan to develop our business in order to deliver quality, customer- focused services.
Customer Service Officers
Every court building has a customer service officer and disability liaison officers who are aware of the facilities in the courthouse. Please let these officers know what assistance you will need before you come to the courthouse. For information on courthouse contact details please click here.
Customer Service Standards
We have developed customer service standards to clearly set out the level of service that our customers can expect when they use our services and facilities. We monitor our performance against these standards quarterly and publish the results in our customer newsletter. If you require information on our customer service standards then please click here.
We welcome feedback on our standards and invite you to speak to a customer service officer at any courthouse.
Accreditation and Inspection
The Courts and Tribunals Service is committed to external assessment and review to ensure that our services are of an objectively high standard and meet public quality standards. We are committed to maintaining recognised quality service accreditation in all our courts through the Customer Service Excellence standard and through the European Foundation for Quality Management in the Enforcement of Judgments Office.
